James was in grade 2, and although he could read, it was a very difficult struggle to do so. When he first started tutoring in Read Right, he looked at his tutor with tears in his eyes. He said “I really can’t read!” Thirty one hours of tutoring later, he is reading at his grade level. His self-confidence has soared, and his maths skills have improved. When James was asked by his tutor what he thought about Read Right, his response was, “I think Read Right is awesome! It really helped me with my reading and writing.” Using Dibels testing, James was at 11 words per minute when he started tutoring and after Read Right he is now at 101 words per minute.
